More info:
Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘yuj” which means to ‘yoke’ or ‘unite’. The aim for Yoga is to unite the mind and body through movement and breath work. Yoga is a term that covers a broad spectrum of practices including Pranayama/breathwork, meditation and asanas/movement.
The classes are run by Lizzie, a qualified Physiotherapist and 550 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher. Her training has covered a variety of practices including Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyenga, Shivenanda, Vinyasa & Restorative/Yin.
Lizzie’s main passion lies within Vinyasa and most of her classes centre around this method. Vinyasa is a dynamic form of Yoga using creative flows, with the aim to build heat, energy and strength. Breathwork and restorative practices also play a key role in the sessions and will usually come in at the start and the end of each one.
The classes are designed for all levels and abilities and will be adapted where needed, but if you have any concerns feel free to get in touch via the contact page
